چکیده
A procedure for 3D printing of silicone elastomers with a direct ink writing (DIW) process has demonstrated great potential in areas as diverse flexible electronics, medical devices, and soft robotics. In this report, we propose comprehensive guide highly stretchable silicones response to material, equipment dilemmas. Specifically, first tested the material properties Dow Corning 737, then modeled simulated two commonly used needles select suitable needle, followed by parameter optimization experiments using built DIW printer find out appropriate speed layer height defined air pressure needle diameter. Finally, optimal combination parameters was obtained. For further demonstration, artificial muscles structurally complex grippers were also printed directly verify feasibility high-precision actuators materials. We believe that work could provide print matter wide range application scenarios.

متن کاملFunctional Soft Robotic Actuators Based on Dielectric Elastomers
Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) are a promising soft actuator technology for robotics. Adding robotic functionalities—folding, variable stiffness, and adhesion—into their actuator design is a novel method to create functionalized robots with simplified actuator configurations. We first propose a foldable actuator that has a simple antagonistic DEA configuration allowing bidirectional actu...

The widespread prevalence of commercial products made from microgels illustrates the immense practical value of harnessing the jamming transition; there are countless ways to use soft, solid materials that fluidize and become solid again with small variations in applied stress. The traditional routes of microgel synthesis produce materials that predominantly swell in aqueous solvents or, less o...
